Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter - Food Industry

Our client is a global leader of automated packaging & processing equipment for the food manufacturing, healthcare, consumer and industrial goods industries.

About the Role
Working as part of the service team, you will be involved in the maintenance servicing, breakdown support and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Travel to client sites to diagnose and rectify technical issues causing breakdowns Perform routine maintenance, services, rebuilds and comissioning of new machines Provide technical support to clients About You Licenced electrician or Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter withRestricted Electrical License Fault finding and maintenance experience (low voltage) Willingness to travel to client sites and work one weekend per month (overtime loading applies) Experience in food manufacturing, packaging or FMCG equipment Knowledge of motor, servomotor and drive technology Job Type:Full-time, Permanent
Salary:Competitve Hourly Rate, Maintained Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Phone, Laptop and Tools
Location:Melbourne, VIC
Working Hours:Monday to Friday; 38 hours per week.
Overtime:x1.5 pay loading on weekdays and x2 on weekends.
