Newly Created Service Technician Opportunities (Electrical and/or Mechanical)Day Shift Schedule: 38 hours per week.

With a consistently increasing turnover of 1.8 billion euros, it has established a global reputation as a highly reliable partner for future-proof logistic process automation.Your positionWorking at one of Australia's most Advanced Picking Solution sites, located in Marsden Park, Sydney, the Service Technician will perform maintenance and operational duties as instructed, including any reactive calls on our Automated Material Handling System to ensure productivity, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality, and teamwork are optimized in accordance with agreed timescales.You will work within your assigned shift pattern on tasks involving electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of all Vanderlande equipment on site.ResponsibilitiesA degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering, or a related technical field is required.Ability to serve as a technical contact during incidents for requests from internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of Industrial Network solutions & PLC control systems (Desirable)Experience in service activities on automated materials handling systems is a distinct advantage.Methodical approach to the required workflows.Flexible attitude to shift work.ASRS experience is beneficial.What We Offer YouIn this challenging position, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth and profitability of Vanderlande.
