Our Opening and Your Responsibilities As a Field Service Technician, you will help various industries improve their operations by providing technical support and maintenance for high precision instruments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing, configuring, and optimizing high precision instruments. Performing routine maintenance, servicing, and calibrations of weighing equipment and analytical instruments. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues accurately and efficiently. Providing advice and technical support to our customers. Communicating effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Ensuring customers can rely on you for regular calibration, maintenance, and repairs. Integrating instruments and their data software into customers' IT systems. Cooperating in an interdisciplinary team within METTLER TOLEDO. What You Need to Succeed Possession of a diploma/certificate in electronics or mechanics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility and availability to travel. Demonstrable experience with office and technical software (MS Word and Excel). Valid Driver's Licence and willingness to travel within a defined geographical area. Strong customer focus. Relevant technical training (electrical engineering, mechatronics, or software), ideally with an official Technical Certification.
