Service Technician

Fork Truck Specialists is a family owned and run business which sells, hires and services a large range of forklifts, telehandlers, sweepers, scrubbers as well as other materials handling equipment.
With offices in Ulverstone and Hobart, this role is based in Hobart and is responsible for servicing our clients in the southern area with a voluntary rotation down the east coast of Tassie where you are given accommodation and meals.
The position is well supported and organised by the Service Manager Jason Williams assisted by Rick Brooks.
Your team mates will be Marc, Andrew, Scott, Brendan, Ron, Kim, Shane, Sharon, Phil, Ally, Karen and Virginia (owner).We also have a well supported technical network from our mainland partners Jungheinrich Australia and Tennant.
The brands we support are Jungheinrich, TCM, Linde, Manitou, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Tennant and Mobicon.Job tasks and responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to:Carry out routine servicing of forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment.Carry out fault finding and repairs.Complete job sheets.Liaise with customers and suppliers.Adhere to the professional values we display.Skills and experienceEssential for TechniciansSound understanding and application of OH&S procedures.A positive outlook on life and the ability to enjoy your work.Drivers Licence.Ability to work under limited supervision.Demonstrated customer service skills.Desirable for mechanicsExperience working on forklift trucks.To apply for this position, please email your CV to ******#J-18808-Ljbffr
