We require the services of an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our fixed operations team.
Full Time, permanent position.
Dealership experience is preferable but not essential, as well as factory training by Nissan, Volkswagen, Subaru, Suzuki, or LDV.
The successful applicant would be self-motivated with a 'Can Do' attitude and a team player.
You must: Hold an AQF Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent or relevant experienceHave a minimum of 5 years' experience as a motor mechanicBe enthusiastic, reliable, and punctualBe computer literate for diagnostic workHave a good eye for detail and quality workmanshipBe prepared to work in a team environmentExhibit a high level of professionalism and personal presentationHold a valid driver's licenseYou will be expected to carry out the following duties:
Diagnose faults using scan tools, on-board diagnostics, or laptop computerCarry out routine preventive maintenanceCommunicate effectively in the workplaceDiagnose faults and repair cooling systemsRepair under-chassis components such as steering, brakes, suspension, and drivelineDiagnose and repair engine and emission control systemsDiagnose and repair ABS brake and dynamic stability control systemsThe rewards are many: A great company to work for with fantastic internal cultureAttractive salary packageCareer path opportunitiesContinuous training both onsite and at factoryRemuneration: $60,000 to $75,000 depending on skills and experience
