About the role As an Underground Service Technician working within the operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of mining activities.
Some of those activities may include: Installing and repairing services and ventilation Building vent walls Tensioning cables Setting up drill hole sites Operating portable agitators Spraying shotcrete This role is offered on a lifestyle friendly 8/6 (days) – 7-7 (nights) roster, FIFO from Cairns or Townsville or DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance.
Those that live residential in Cloncurry will receive a local living allowance.
You will also be eligible to receive a quarterly bonus, complimentary life insurance, and income protection.
About you Ideally, you will have previous experience working in an underground mining environment as well as a current C class driver's licence.
You will also be able to demonstrate a positive attitude toward safety and feel confident to identify, report, and manage potential hazards.
