This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys varied and interesting work and contributing to a hardworking, passionate team environment. This opportunity is based at our Pakenham facility.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other critical components.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine necessary repairs.Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions and performance.Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle life.Replace or repair faulty parts, using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent.Work closely with the operations team to ensure that vehicles are serviced in a timely manner to meet operational demands.Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during repairs and maintenance activities.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience working as a service technician on heavy vehicles.HR Truck and Forklift license an advantage but not essential.Have an organised approach to work procedures.The ability to work as part of a team.Be adaptable to challenging situations and changing business demands.A keen eye for detail, quality, safety, and cleanliness.Honesty and reliability.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Heavy Vehicle Technician?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Which of the following forklift licences do you have?Have you worked in a role which requires fault finding experience?Do you have a heavy vehicle driver's licence?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?How many years' experience do you have as a Heavy Vehicle Motor Mechanic?
