Take control of your future, knowing all the while you're part of a close-knit team who has your back.About the Role:Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to support our Melbourne branch.In this role, you will carry out breakdowns, repairs, and routine maintenance on all types of material handling equipment across Melbourne.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and breakdowns in a timely manner.Maintain a professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and any other administrative components.Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:Current Driver's licence.Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage but not essential.Can Demonstrate:Strong work ethic and self-motivation.Well-developed mechanical aptitude.Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.Good oral and written communication skills.Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry (desirable).Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities, and licensing requirements.Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.TMHA benefits of the role:Technical development and accredited product training.Market leading company to work for.Industry competitive rates, incentives, and allowances.Comprehensive induction program with ongoing support.Company provided specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.Company provided uniforms, safety footwear, and all Personal Protective Equipment.Friendly team atmosphere.Career development initiatives.Our commitment:TMHA is committed to ongoing growth and development of its employees.
