The opportunity This role is based in Emerald, Queensland, and involves daily travel to our customer site located a short drive from our Emerald Depot. We are looking for an experienced and Licensed Electrical Technician with a background in power generation to join the Cat Rental division of our business.
About you A Grade Electrical License Demonstrated experience in maintaining and repairing diesel power generation equipment High-level organisational and communication skills – written and verbal Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Refrigeration experience would be valuable Ability to work autonomously at a customer mine site location Self-motivated, driven, and a self-starter Sound knowledge of computer and software systems Key Responsibilities Servicing of power generation and plant fleet located at our customer site and in the Emerald region if required Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair fleet General forklift operation, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance End-to-end management of equipment at our customer site Preparation and completion of service, job reports, time sheets, and other reports in a timely and efficient manner Monitoring and ordering of fleet spares and consumables as needed Paid daily travel to and from our customer site 5 & 2 roster - 7.6 hour ordinary day Participation in an On-Call Roster What we offer Great remuneration package including housing and market allowance, retention bonus, service vehicle, super, mobile phone, and laptop Employee Recognition Program and Service Awards Birthday leave Volunteer leave Employee Referral Bonus Scheme Employee Assistance Program What next?
