Position Description We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician - Diesel Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Carry out the total maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets to ensure the best possible returns on expenditure. Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and maintained ready for use. Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment. Conduct weekly/monthly scheduled service plans to maintain optimum fleet performance. Timely and effectively carry out internal maintenance and repairs, customer site installations/removals. Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs. Ensure equipment and quality satisfaction is delivered in accordance with customer expectation. Carry out all mechanical repairs and checking of company assets in accordance with the company's policy. Carry out maintenance on the fleet to ensure the fleet livery is in accordance with the company's policy and is presented to the marketplace in a condition that delights customers. Maintain and enhance relationships and communication with internal and external customers. Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required. About You To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
Proven experience as Diesel Fitter (at least 3 years). Qualified Mechanic with Australian mechanic's license. Australian Driver's License. Forklift License (an advantage). MR Truck License (advantage). Computer literacy. Salary If successful, you will be paid a salary of $90,000 per annum.
