What is the Opportunity?Due to recent growth in the business, we have a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced Service Technician to join our passionate, highly driven and successful Service Team, based out of Townsville, Queensland.
As a Service Technician, you will apply your technical knowledge and service experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment as well as a range of third-party items for Arjo customers within the broader aged care and acute (hospital) care healthcare environments, within in FNQ.
You will play an important role in ensuring our customer's equipment is functional and safe to use for caregivers and residents/patients. Your skills and positive can-do attitude will help empower movement for people facing mobility challenges and increase the quality of lives for our customer base.
We are looking for a person to: Carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo's range of products (medical equipment) as well as a range of related third-party equipment.Conduct routine scheduled servicing; (Preventative) and breakdown support (Reactive).Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames.Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in Arjo's service ERP system.Maintain your company vehicle in good condition, and report spare parts stock accurately in Arjo's service ERP system.Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy.The Service Technician role will require quarterly travel to Cairns to meet the needs of our large and growing customer base.The skills you will need: Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude.2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service related sector.Proven problem solving ability and troubleshooting skills.Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet company performance targets/KPIs.A passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well presented, confident and exhibit sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments.The ability to understand the customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit.Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools and test/inspection equipment.Computer literacy. iPad use familiarity will be advantageous.The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment.A current QLD driver's licence (Class C) is essential.Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a current influenza vaccination, in order to commence in this role.What we will offer in return At Arjo, our vision is to be the most trusted partner in driving healthier outcomes for people facing mobility challenges.
