Epiroc Australia is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and organised Service Technicians (Fitter) in our Perth Service Workshop for an immediate start.As a Service Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting our service operations.Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below:Provide support to customers as neededWork collaboratively with all team members and stakeholdersCreate and develop strong relationships with customers and team membersCarry out specialised repairs, rebuilds and maintenance work on Epiroc's range of surface and underground mining equipmentCarry out service and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and RCS systemsSolve complex equipment-related issues including diagnostic fault findingField and workshop repairs on a range of Epiroc equipmentComply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirementsThe successful applicant must have:Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, Auto Electrical or hydraulic trade qualifications or similar.Customer-facing experience or similarExtensive experience in the maintenance of surface and underground mobile mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical repairs.Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience.Heavy mobile plant equipment rebuildsProven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and fault find complex electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problemsEpiroc surface and underground product experience will be highly regardedWhat we offer:Flexible work conditionsSuper on all hours workedRetention bonusCompany paid Income ProtectionUnlimited career opportunitiesPaid parental leave for primary and non-primary carersAbove NES long service leaveYears of service recognition awardsTraining and mentorship opportunitiesEpiroc is recognised today as a genuine global leader in innovative product engineering solutions.
