The Role To support our ambitious business growth strategy within Service, we are looking for an experienced Service Team Manager (Security) to join our Service Team.
Reporting to the Service Operations Leader, you will be responsible for managing the Security Service team in delivering existing Security System maintenance programs, which may include: -
High Security Intrusion Alarm systemsCommercial Intrusion Alarm systemsElectronic Access ControlCCTVIntercomDuress systemsQuoting small rectification worksManaging small upgrades and fit outs Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Leading a team of experienced Security Service technicians, apprentices and Service Delivery ManagersDriving a 'Customer Focus' management cultureEnsuring a safe working cultureOverseeing the scheduling and ensuring the delivering of preventative maintenance activitiesManagement of small/medium installation commercial projectsSupporting the Service Branch with quoting processesLiaising with subcontractors & PM's during the commissioning of projectsAssisting the commercial projects team with new and existing worksEnsuring the completion of supporting documentation in full and on timeEnsuring compliance with Security License requirements (as required by State requirements) for your teamWhere applicable – ensuring all clearances and accreditations are current and supporting documentation provided in order to fulfil your role The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience within the Electronic Security industryTertiary Qualifications preferred: Electrical or Electronics or equivalent EngineeringAdvanced Microsoft SkillsHave a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Electronic Security leadership roleExperience in working cohesively within a team environment to deliver maintenance scheduling programmes, rostering of technicians and internal administrative documentation in a timely mannerExperience across security control systems such as C-Cure, Gallagher EACS, Gallagher High Security Systems (Type1A and Class 5) & Lenel is essential - certifications preferredExperience across CCTV, NVRs, DVRs, LAN/WAN devices such as American Dynamics, Exacqvision, Genetec and Milestone are preferredMust be an Australian resident, who holds a valid driving licence, ACMA Cable Licence, Security licence and Building Industry Induction cardIf operating within Defence or Government verticals, an AGSVA Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 minimum) or the ability to obtain this clearance is essentialStrong network systems experience, routing, IP addressing, VLANS and PC related skillsStrong installation and commissioning ethicActing with urgency and consistently delivering excellent Customer service with a 'can do' attitudeDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work on their own within a team Culture: Across our 12 branches in Australia, our employees enjoy working within JCI because there is a supportive diverse culture, with a highly skilled workforce, accessibility to world class leading products with opportunities for individual growth and progression.
