Total Commercial Equipment is one of the fastest growing companies in its industry in Australia. This SA owned company imports, sells, installs and services commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, Australia wide. Total Commercial Equipment is seeking a Service Team Leader for its service and spare parts department.
The service and spare parts department includes six technicians, supported by a team of office staff, including dedicated spare parts staff.
The Position This position is ideally suited to someone that has previous experience in the service industry, leading a team of technicians and office staff. This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the service and spare parts department in order to continually review and implement new processes that improve our customer service and profitability.
This role will be responsible for achieving targets set for the department and will be involved in reporting on all aspects of the department to drive change through these outcomes.
The successful candidate will communicate well with customers and be responsible for developing and initiating new relationships in order to secure more service business, including working on all tender opportunities that arise. Providing customer service support and coaching to all staff in the service department will be required, as well as dealing with customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
This position will require a high level of customer service and attention to detail. We are seeking a highly organised individual who enjoys a role with lots of variety.
Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you must have:
Previous experience in the service industry, supervising and leading a team of staff. The ability to communicate well with staff, contractors, suppliers, and customers. Exceptional grammar, spelling, and numeracy skills. A high level of attention to detail. An enthusiastic and positive attitude, with the ability to work well in a team environment. The desire to learn, grow, and prosper in this fast-paced office environment.
