The Role: The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking a Chief Radiation Therapist/Manager to lead the dedicated team at the WP Holman Clinic, Hobart. The Chief Radiation Therapist/Manager provides high level leadership and effective management of the radiation therapy staff and clinical services in the department. In this role you will oversee daily operations, resource management and quality assurance processes to foster a person-centred approach. Your expertise will be central in designing and implementing services that directly impact treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction. As a key member of the WP Holman Clinic leadership team, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the service.
The Team: The WP Holman Clinic provides radiation therapy services to Southern Tasmanian patients and specialist cranial stereotactic radiation therapy for patients across Tasmania. The centre has Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, a Canon CT simulator, Eclipse planning system, Gulmay Superficial unit and ARIA oncology information system. The multidisciplinary team includes radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical physicists, nursing, administrative and allied health staff.
Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call), working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $169,240 to $179,116 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Radiation Therapist Level 5.
