Job Description Summary The Telecommunications Worker - Labourer will form part of the Field Delivery Team, working as part of a team or as an individual contributor at times to construct, maintain & decommission telecommunications networks.

Service Stream's Telecommunications division is currently seeking a number of skilled or unskilled labourers as Telecommunication workers to join our growing company.
As part of this role, if not already obtained, you will gain experience and competencies including but not limited to:
Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More) (WP)Working safely at HeightsWorking safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical workerImplement traffic management planProvide First AidPerform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be primarily responsible for building, maintaining, and decommissioning telecommunication networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities and Power Utility. You will also be responsible for the following:
Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews dailyWorking from ladders & EWP's (Elevated Work Platform)Willing and able to be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basisWilling and able to work away from home from time to timeCommunicate/report on scheduled works changes to Field SupervisorParticipate in actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)Work in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport)About Us Service Stream, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading national service provider to develop and operate Australia's essential communications, energy and water networks in the telecommunications, utilities and transport industries.
