You will play a hands-on role as you utilise your skills and experience to perform a variety of field service tasks in support of a diverse range of expanding Customer assets. With a focus on Power Systems, this includes; Switchgear, Circuit Breakers and a variety of assets across LV / MV / HV across a variety of diverse Customer locations that are expanding within the growing markets that we service.No two days are the same. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations. Minimising downtime and maximising reliability, you will enjoy high-quality training, the support of your team, engaged leaders as well as ongoing development that supports your career ambitions as we harness technology to make an Impact.This exciting new career opportunity will see you:Complete a variety of field service tasks across the ACT region and nearby locationsCollaborate with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad-hoc tasksCommissioning, site testing, system/firmware upgrades and ad-hoc troubleshootingProvide technical support and specialist advice to CustomersAct as a role model in relation to relevant HS&E requirements and adhere to other internal processesMaintain accurate documentation in relation to service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and inventory managementIdentify new opportunities to expand service offerings that focus on Customer requirementsMaintain coverage for a 12hr rotating day/night shift rosterOur ideal candidate will possess:A Grade (Unrestricted) Electrical LicenseCurrent Drivers License (we supply a Tool of Trade Vehicle!)Previous experience in a similar Field Service or Maintenance positionProven ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when requiredA technical aptitude and a digital mindset that is engaged in new technologiesWell-developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem-solver / trouble-shooterDemonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risksAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for Interview.Benefits of Working for Schneider ElectricWe offer all our employees a chance to build your career within our global organisation.
