About the Strategy and Sustainability Directorate The Strategy and Sustainability Directorate is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the Austin Health Strategic and Business Plans and annual Statement of Priorities, including establishing appropriate monitoring, reporting requirements and governance.
About the role An exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Service Planning Project Officer to join Austin Health's Strategy and Sustainability Directorate.
This role supports Austin Health's strategic planning and delivery through annual business planning and reporting, as well as Austin Health's Statement of Priorities reporting.
It also leads clinical and entity service planning to guide service, workforce and infrastructure investment, and it will play a key role in supporting Austin Health in Local Health Service Network planning.
About you You will be a highly motivated professional who brings energy and enthusiasm to their work each day.
You'll be an experienced and inspiring leader who can engage, coordinate, and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
You'll further have:
A tertiary qualification and experience in a health discipline and service planning.
A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable but not essential.A proven track record in health system reform strategy and service planningDemonstrated experience in effectively engaging stakeholders, building partnerships and communicating with influence at all levelsExcellent writing skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare written reports to a high standard with supporting data and analysis, appropriate for the purpose and audienceOur benefits Working at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
