As a Service Owner, Strategy & Planning you will create sustainable competitive advantage by defining the medium-term strategic agenda, managing the quarterly business planning cycles, and overseeing all initiative spend while tracking benefit realization for the Cash & Transactional Banking (C&TB) Line of Business.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of the 2–3-year roadmap for the C&TB LoB strategy, contributing strongly to the accomplishment of the squad's mission while role modeling behaviors.Bring deep strategic thinking and utilize research and data analytics.Conduct competitor and market analyses to identify emerging competitors and their unique propositions.Identify partnership opportunities to solve strategic needs.Determine key customer target segments considering risk appetite, policy, and regulatory obligations.Manage the quarterly business planning cycles and prioritization discussions for the LoB.Oversee initiative spend and track benefits realization, including facilitating key trade-off decisions for the LoB.Maintain the strategic plan and delivery roadmap, including people, process, and technology.Collaborate across the LoB to ensure the strategic roadmap and objectives are implemented and outcomes are planned as achieved.What do I need? Extensive experience in strategy within a large complex organization or consulting.Excellent leadership and experience in managing high-performing teams, coaching, and mentoring.Proven experience across a range of strategy service portfolios, including market and industry dynamics assessments, corporate and portfolio strategy, business unit, customer and segment, capability and operating models, and strategy execution services.Strong people leadership experience and a proven track record in leading high-performing teams.Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.Strategic thinker, with strong analytical skills.Strong judgment, decision-making skills, planning, and written & verbal communication.Proven ability to guide and influence decision-making at GM/GM1 level.Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts.What is it like to work there?
