The Service Owner, Pricing leads the Mortgage Pricing squad and capability for the Westpac Group.
The role is responsible for the business leadership of mortgages pricing strategy and operations across all channels and brands for the Group.
This role is a critical member of the Product Management Leadership Team with people management responsibilities to their 8 direct reports.
Reporting line to Head of Product Management, Mortgages.
There are three key areas of accountability within the Service Owner, Pricing role:
Pricing Strategy
Lead Westpac Group's mortgage pricing strategy across all distribution channels (including First Party, Third Party, Private and Business) and all brands.Pricing Operations
Provide strategic direction and leadership of the Pricing Desk, which manages pricing approvals and escalations.Pricing Technology and Risk Management
Provide business leadership across technical pricing systems and drive ongoing transformation of the overall pricing technology ecosystem.What do I need? The successful candidate will have:
Strong understanding of retail banking services and productsDemonstrated commercial acumen based on an understanding of profitability drivers within the banking sectorStrong interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive commercial outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders.Significant experience in people leadership of cross-functional teams with skillsets across different domainsExperience with providing recommendations to senior stakeholders that consider both commercial and customer outcomesAbility to understand complex technology ecosystems and lead transformational change to improve customer and business outcomesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure, adapting to dynamic priorities and a fast paced environmentAs an equal opportunity employer, we are proud to have created a culture and work environment that values diversity and flexibility – and champions inclusion.
