As a relatively young charity (9 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for people who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase.This role works closely with our Founder and Managing Director, who is the visionary of the charity, setting strategic priorities and goals for the team and devising operating plans. The synergy of this relationship is an integral part of this role. This role also works closely with our other Managers on key projects, operational strategies, and methodologies.Our Service Operations team is a small but mighty team of five who excel at what they do, and we are looking for a Service Operations Manager who can nurture and mentor our team members to continue to flourish and grow.This role will oversee all aspects of key Service Operations initiatives including but not limited to: Dignity Drives, Transport and Logistics, It's in the Bag Campaign, Sponsor a Bag, Indigenous Menstrual Health and Education programs, and Gifts In Kind. This role will be fast-paced, exciting, and rewarding!You will be someone who is goal-oriented, has a great eye for detail, agile with the ability to pivot where required. You will be excited about new opportunities and projects, and capable of effectively and successfully managing projects with many elements and stakeholders.Manage and lead the Service Operations teamSet project KPIs and objectives and provide leadership across the operational areas of the businessManage all key programs and initiatives to budget, on time and in line with project plansOversee the delivery of operational strategiesDevelop, build and maintain high-value relationships and ensure that deliverables are metOversee volunteer relationships and communications regarding initiativesIdentify and evaluate opportunities and trends to grow the charity's service deliveryMonitor, evaluate and report on programs and give recommendationsDevelop and monitor effective tracking and reporting toolsEnsure all IT systems and programs are implemented and managed effectively such as CRM, WebsitesContribute to strategic planning and budget settingIdentify, develop and implement efficiencies and improvementsYou are someone who is happy to either step back and provide advice and direction where needed, but also someone who doesn't mind jumping on the tools from time to time and/or take the lead on team projects. As this is a very hands-on role, you will be someone who promotes a safe work environment whilst being comfortable with light physical work.You will have great organisational and communication skills and the ability to drill down into the detail whilst also having a big-picture view.
