JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate lifting equipment/machinery relevant to movement of materials within Service process.Lay out, position, align and fit components together using applicable machines, tools, and equipment.Remove and re-install mobile rig components.Repair mobile rig components.Use hand tools and be able to correctly setup and operate applicable shop machines.Understand BOM (bill of materials).Maintain material traceability through handling process.Placement of material in correct locations.Operate drill press.Material prep for repairs.Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.Prepare equipment for repairing by pressure washing, blasting, painting, etc.Check all structural and mechanical components for defects.Make any necessary repairs and replace broken parts.Calibrate equipment and paint exterior surfaces.Assist others in difficult repair tasks. JOB REQUIREMENTS Must have basic hand tools.Overtime is required.Travel to customers' locations may be required at times.Work in adverse weather conditions (heat and cold outdoors).Ability to kneel, crawl, and work in tight areas as needed.Ability to read/write legibly (English).Working at heights up to 120' may be required.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years mechanical experience required.High School diploma or equivalent.
