About the Role
As our Service Manager you will oversee every aspect of our service department, ensuring a seamless operation, maintaining an exceptional customer satisfaction rating across all brands and mentoring a thriving Team of about 15 staff.
With a steady daily output of mostly retail work, your abilities will be focused on:
Leading, inspiring, and mentoring our valuable and skilled Team.
Ensuring every customer drives away having experienced exceptional service in a timely manner.
Having a sound knowledge of managing a service department to ensure and maintain profitability.
Driving the workload for the department to ensure ongoing growth and improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support your Team to ensure a positive culture, inspire as a mentor, lead by example and have a work family approach to the department.
Quickly and effectively address customer concerns while developing, achieving, and exceeding the departments OEM customer satisfaction benchmarks
Manage the daily workload and workflow for the department
Maximise all opportunities
Maintain accurate records
Build and maintain the customer base
Be a positive, respectful, manufacturer liaison of the Dealership.
Skills and Experience
Proven leadership experience in a Service Manager role or similar within an automotive franchise dealership.
Have a strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Possess exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills.
A strong coaching and Team development ability.
Be motivated, well organised and have outstanding communication skill set.
Provide exceptional customer service to customers and Team members while maintaining a profitable operation.
Knowledge of dealership management systems preferably Tune/Revolution.
Have a positive attitude always.
