This Service Manager position is workshop-based, located in Yatala.The RoleThe Service Manager is responsible for managing service across QLD. This includes overseeing the service department operations, financial performance, and customer relationships. The role will manage a service team of up to 10x Technicians, 2x Leading Hands, and 1x Service Supervisor.Key DutiesManage and mentor the service team, supporting their efficiency and productivityOversee daily service work scheduling and job sheetsManage and build customer relationships, ensuring a high-quality service is deliveredCoordinate with external contractors as requiredOversee staff training and onboarding processesConduct performance reviewsLiaise with internal sales teams regarding the commissioning and training of new machinesLiaise with the parts department to assist with their requirementsEnsure all work orders are completed and updated on internal systems, for service administration team to processMaintain a respectful and professional approach towards all staff and customersSkills and Experience RequiredAustralian recognised trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)Minimum 5 years people management experienceAustralian Drivers LicenceExperience in process improvement and management of financial outcomesStrong interpersonal/rapport building skillsAbility to develop a positive team environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbalHigh level organisational and administration management skillsStrong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
