Service Manager

In & Outboard Marine is a leading modern Yamaha Marine Dealership in Darwin NT. Servicing, Sales, Spare Parts and fitting of: Yamaha Outboards and marine electronics to associated boat brands including Quintrex, Bar Crusher and Stabicraft. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team. If you have a proven track record in Managing Service Operations in either Automotive, Motorcycle, Marine or Electrical we want to hear from you.
About the role: Reporting to the dealer principals, the successful applicant will be a part of a vibrant, busy environment and will receive an extended handover with the existing Service Manager who is retiring.
Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.Manage and mentor service technicians and support staff to maintain a motivated and productive team.Develop and implement service strategies to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals.Monitor and maintain service department budgets and financial performance.Collaborate with other departments to improve overall dealership operations.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally with a positive, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional approach.Develop and oversee apprentice program to build a pipeline of future Technicians.Requirements: Minimum 3 years of automotive service management experience.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.Knowledge of automotive service procedures and technical aspects.We in return offer successful applicants: A highly attractive remuneration scheme, including bonuses on performance.Supportive team environment.Apply Now: If you are a results-oriented Service Manager with a passion for managing service operations, we invite you to apply.
