Service Manager – HVACOur client, an internationally renowned tier one company, is expanding its business. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a HVAC Service Technician with drive to lay the foundation for managing the delivery of after-sales repair and maintenance services on HVAC products and systems across their commercial and residential customer base.If successful in the role, you will be responsible for building a division, hiring, managing, and mentoring additional Service Technicians, and expanding the Customer Service Division. The management role will encompass the development of customer relations, implementation of policies, procedures, service methodology, and quality assurance programs. This initial Customer Service position is to deliver professional on-site repair and maintenance services on HVAC and control systems across a commercial, industrial, and residential customer base.Benefits Competitive salary package Car Allowance Flexible/hybrid working Additional day of leave known as 'Wellbeing Day Leave' Study Leave Paid Parental Leave Reward and Recognition program Staff discounts on products Training and development opportunities Discounted health insurance Access to an Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities Project manage the establishment of Victorian direct field service operation Manage the delivery of direct field repair services across HVAC product line up, including: Prioritisation of technician workload to achieve customer service objectives Handling on-site customer concerns and complaints efficiently through to resolution Establishing positive internal and external professional relationships Attend/assist service call outs with field technicians Manage the delivery of the pre-sales technical/commissioning function and special projects Undertake activities in relation to new product release procedures. Qualifications Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence - RAC01 (Mandatory) VBA Plumbing Licence (not mandatory) Valid Driver's Licence White Card (Strong understanding of WH&S Requirements) Experience Minimum 10 years' experience as a HVAC service technician Extensive field repair experience across the suite of HVAC and air quality products Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in various air-conditioning products Strong knowledge and experience on VRF products including BMS/control systems Strong technical and customer service communication skills Ability to train and teach others Basic to intermediate PC Skills (MS Office) HVAC industry-related software tools and Cloud Apps Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams Understanding refrigeration cycles Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature If you think you are right for this role, please apply using the supplied links or contact Mike Collins on 0414 632 137 or ******.
