What you can bring to the team Service Operations Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of CYF services, ensuring services meet both client needs and organizational requirements. Address client grievances and identify key support opportunities.Business Development: Prepare business cases, funding applications, proposals, and change management plans. Actively participate in benchmarking activities and work toward achieving service targets.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, key stakeholders, and partners. Play an active role in the negotiation of contracts and funding agreements.Financial Management: Prepare and monitor service budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Provide regular, accurate financial reporting within organizational timelines.Cultural Inclusivity: Foster a culturally safe and inclusive environment, working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, children, and families to break the intergenerational cycle of over-representation in care.Team Leadership: Lead a diverse and motivated team, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategies and fostering a positive workplace culture.Compliance & Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards. Adhere to relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in all aspects of service delivery.To be suitable for the position, ideally you have: Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of financial management systems and budgeting processes.Current driver's license and willingness to travel intrastate periodically.Knowledge of the Sanctuary Model of Care (Desirable).A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role in social welfare or child protection.Demonstrated ability to identify business development opportunities and improve service delivery.Possess or willingness to obtain: Current National Police Certificate, Working with Children (Blue Card), and other necessary background checks (or willingness to acquire).Current Influenza or ability to obtain.Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship, and Safety.
