Our client is seeking a seasoned Service Management Implementation Specialist to join their dynamic team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement an ITIL-based service management capability, ensuring it meets the needs of the organisation and its clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of service management principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This position is based in the vibrant city of Sydney.
What you'll do: Lead the implementation of service management capability for the technology division.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Design an operating model for the service management capability to meet these objectives.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful implementation.Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of new service management processes and tools.Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of service management tools with existing systems and processes.Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework and service management best practices.Proven experience in service management implementation, preferably in a Financial Services IT environment.Familiarity with APRA prudential standards including CPS 234, CPS 231 and CPS 230 are highly desirable.Experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple streams simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.What sets this company apart: Our client is a global leader in their field, committed to providing an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
