Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM
Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 + Super + Salary Packaging (depending on experience)
About the Role The Service Lead role in Orange is a newly implemented position designed to provide vital leadership to the non-clinical support team, within the Aged Care setting. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the daily operations and leading a team dedicated to high-quality resident care, including Leisure & Wellness Coordinators and Care Workers.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Collaboration: Lead the support team, ensuring a high standard of service that aligns with Uniting's person-centered care approach. Act as a proactive and engaging presence, fostering a positive workplace culture and high morale. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Service Manager and rostering team to streamline operations, ensuring efficiency and that resources meet resident needs. Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for a robust support team. Compliance & Safety: Uphold WH&S standards, ensuring a safe work environment and staff training. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and compliance regulations to align services with best practices. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying areas for improvement in service delivery and team processes to support Uniting's vision for quality and client-centered care. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has experience in HR or Business Management, ideally within Aged Care, and brings a proactive approach to managing teams. Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to social impact, and an ability to inspire others are essential.
Qualifications: Certificate IV in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years managing a small team Experience in aged care, community welfare, or similar fields is preferred What's in it for you?
