You'll work with industry leaders in X-ray units, check weighers, multi-head weighers, VFFS machines, and much more, making a real impact in the food industry!Our Victorian service team is based in Scoresby, where we proudly support the greater Melbourne region, as well as some regional and interstate projects. With a talented mix of electrical and mechanical professionals, we're excited to expand our team and are seeking a passionate Service Engineer to be part of our continued growth!Key responsibilities include:Respond to customer callouts to diagnose and resolve a variety of electrical and mechanical issues.Install machines, attachments, parts and equipment and ensure operation in accordance with OEM instructions and customer expectations.Conduct customer training after installation/commissioning including proper set-up, operating, cleaning, and maintenance.Conduct preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of machinery, including generating comprehensive machine condition reports based upon your findings.Validate machinery performance and provide certificates to customers.About youA VICTORIAN Unrestricted Electrical Work License is a must for this rolePrevious electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience is necessaryField service experience preferredExperience on packaging and inspection equipment preferred but not essentialHold a valid Australian driver's licenseA high standard of performance for self & others with excellent attention to detailWillingness to take action beyond specific explicit job responsibilitiesAbility to fit into a team and keen to ensure excellent working relationshipsAbility to generate basic Word and Excel documents for reporting to customers as well as Heat and Control internal stakeholders.A fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, and phone will be provided.This is an exciting opportunity for a result-driven service technician to forge a long-term career with a leading OEM.
