In this role, you will be based in either Albury, NSW or Wodonga, VIC, and will be responsible for providing support to our large base of installation clients across the region. You will be instrumental in ensuring the continued success and satisfaction of our clients through timely and efficient service delivery. You will be joining a team of highly skilled and experienced Service Engineers with an outstanding reputation for quality, safety and customer satisfaction.This is an excellent opportunity to advance your service career and become part of the Canon community of expert engineers across Australia and New Zealand servicing a broad range of customers including Public and Private Hospitals and Diagnostic Imaging Centres.Service Engineers are required to work anywhere within their Branch region at short notice. Working after-hours, on weekends, on overtime, and on flexible rosters is required. Intra-state, inter-state and overseas travel may be required for work tasks and training.The highest standards of conduct, professionalism, demonstration of technical competency and Canon core values is essential for this position.Key Responsibilities:Install and service medical imaging equipmentComplete relevant training and obtain required licenses for VICPlan and lead installations and maintenanceSupport sales and applications staffEnsure that equipment is operating at optimum levelsEnsure that equipment specifications are tested and maintained for QA and complianceProvide prompt customer service per contracted service levels and response timesDocumentation of work conducted and test resultsLeading, training and supervising other engineers as requiredOur ideal candidate will possess:Tertiary qualification in electronic, electrical or biomedical engineering or equivalent work experienceCurrent Driver's licence is mandatoryFull Electrical Licence (A Grade) desirableMust have or be able to obtain a VIC Radiation licence (if not currently held, a plan to obtain within 6 months of commencement – Canon Medical provides time and covers reasonable, agreed cost to obtain)WH&S certification is desirableCompetency in an imaging modality is desirable (eg. CT, angiography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine)Service experience in Medical Imaging or similar equipment is desirablePrior field service experience in electronic, electrical or biomedical fields is highly desirableDemonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a teamExperience working with Salesforce or equivalent CRM desirableGood written and verbal communication skillsAble to commit to support customers for multiple days away from home, with short noticeMust have or be able to obtain a VIC or NSW Disconnect/Reconnect Electrical Licence (if not currently held, a plan to obtain within 6 months of commencement – you are responsible for time and cost to obtain)What's on offer?When you join Canon Medical Systems, you become a part of an organisation that focuses on propelling its people forward by supporting their careers.
