Purpose of Position
We seek highly motivated, passionate and reliable individuals to join our Service & Maintenance team with a proven background in the commercial industry.
The successful candidate will be able to conduct themselves in the following capacities:
Hold a valid Electrical Licence in the state of South Australia.
Hold a valid Drivers Licence in the state of South Australia.
Have experience in the electrical industry.
Show the aptitude and maturity to be part of the teams and service delivery.
THE ROLE / Responsibilities / Duties
Electrical:
Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns and correct the problems.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with codes.
Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety.
Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality
Maintain a current Electrical Licence and associated permits to meet governmental regulations.
Participate in nurturing the development of a
culture of zero harm.
Follow all HSEQ procedures and processes and recommend changes where necessary.
Commit to the effectiveness of the HSEQ system as required.
Commitment to Customer Service, Communication
With the Supervisors and Account Managers, attend as required to regular reviews to discuss opportunities.
Build meaningful relationships with customers and their clients that result in win/win outcomes.
Proven experience as a Service/Maintenance Electrician.
Hold a full Electrical Licence, White Card, EWP Ticket.
Hold a current National Crime Check.
Knowledge of SA electrical codes and regulations.
Problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Remuneration
Successful candidates will be employed under the relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
