Your RoleYou will be part of our National Service Desk supporting clients across Australia.Providing technical support to a wide range of businesses and client staff, with support requests coming via chat, phone, email and our portal.This role will have a focus on phone and remote support initially (e.g. 6 months) and expand as your experience grows.Supporting technologies including computers and devices, operating systems (mostly Microsoft) and applications, Office 365, identity management, security products, Teams and Teams Phone etc.Helping with changes and projects.Your Technical and Professional SkillsTechnical We expect good technical skills but we're also happy to invest in training if you have some gaps.
Typically, people obtain this role having at least 2 years' IT support experience, but if you're the type of person that picks up technology skills quickly, less experience might be okay.
Ideally, you will already have certifications in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate. Otherwise, you will need to gain this certification within 6 months.
You should have good technical skills in many of the following:
Microsoft Windows 10/11Management of computers and mobile devicesMicrosoft 365 including managing users, emails, Teams, OneDrive and SharePointEndpoint security (particularly Microsoft Defender)Using Intune/AutopilotUnderstanding of MFA and Conditional AccessTeams Phone and meeting room technologiesProfessional You need to be passionate about customer service and have the soft-skills that will make you a success in our company. Majority of your time will be based onsite in the VISITS' Melbourne office or providing onsite support at customer sites. There is some flexibility to work from home for this role.
