Job DescriptionWe seek a Service Desk Analyst to join our team based at a customer site in Bungendore (near Canberra).
You will maintain our multi-user computer systems and assist end users in person and through technology.ResponsibilitiesAccount Management: Create and manage administrator and service accounts and maintain clear system documentation.Performance Tuning: Optimise system performance.Software Installation: Deploy system-wide software efficiently.Storage Management: Manage and optimize storage space.Server Maintenance: Support and maintain our server platform and related applications.Monitoring: Manage enterprise-wide monitoring platforms.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve infrastructure issues.Collaboration: Work with business technology groups to manage infrastructure deployments.Agile Participation: Represent users during testing in sprints.Change Management: Ensure smooth transition of solutions into production.Documentation: Create technical documentation, including plans, procedures, and manuals.Liaison: Facilitate communication between teams and manage delivery and escalation processes.Project Management: Plan, monitor, and report on team activities.Work HoursCore hours: Three rolling shifts between 0600-1800hrs.Occasional on-call and weekend work.QualificationsEssentialExperience in server, desktop, and Active Directory administration in a medium-to-large scale environment.Proficiency in multi-domain / Active Directory and TCP / IP networks.Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Networking, Storage, and Backup.PreferredExperience with server hardware, VCE vBlock, NetApp, EMC, and Cisco hardware.Familiarity with SCCM, SCOM, SharePoint, EMC Networker, Citrix VDI, and McAfee products.ITIL Foundation v3 certification.Expertise in VMware management suite and SharePoint.Additional InformationThis is an essential role for us, and as a result, you can impact your team, stakeholders, and the business significantly.The company's diverse employees support vital missions for government and commercial customers.
