About the opportunity: Based in Adelaide, SA and reporting to the Information Service (IS) Delivery Manager, you'll offer comprehensive support to Detmold Group users via email, telephone, and walk-up channels. Using remote desktop tools, you'll resolve issues promptly, serving as the primary point of contact for technical support. In terms of specific responsibilities, you will: Operate the IS Department Service Desk Gather accurate information and diagnose initial faults for incident/problem tickets. Prioritise and escalate Service Desk requests as necessary. Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues based on expertise levels. Manage user accounts, profiles, and device deployment within Active Directory. Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues About you: You will need: Interest in pursuing a career in Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) Support Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information. Experience with Microsoft office products, Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows versions 2008, 2012, and 2016. Basic network troubleshooting skills (Use of PING, NSLookUp, Tracert etc) The ability to learn new techniques and technologies, demonstrating initiative in work planning and technical problem resolution. Proactive problem-solving and issue management skills. While not essential, ITIL certification and a diploma in a related field will be highly regarded.
