About the opportunity: Ignite are working an exclusive contract position seeking an experienced Service Designer who has a deep understanding of strategy, delivery, continual service improvement and service design concepts.
You will assist in embedding User Experience and Service Design capabilities that support evidence-based decision making early to ensure digital solutions are well designed and delivered, behaviourally informed, integrated and strategically aligned.
Responsibilities: • Develop a business model and roadmap for implementing an Integrated Service Design function, as well as a capability maturity plan that focusses on knowledge transfer and upskilling staff.
• Document an end-to-end Blueprint of the entire system.
• Establish effective governance to act as a design authority to provide quality assurance, planning and prioritisation checks and strategic alignment.
• Operating a Service Design 'Centre of Excellence' to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment of ICT changes to the Program outcomes and direct future improvements and efficiencies.
• Understand the research activities underway across the reforms and perform User Experience and Service Design functions for projects as required.
You will have demonstrated the following experience: • Developing and implementing Service Design concepts and structures.
• Suitable approach to delivering the services requested by the Department's goals.
• With engagement, collaboration, and planning functions.
Desirable • Experience in strategy development and implementation experience.
• Experience in Service Delivery and user research knowledge.
