Primary Objective: Provide support to ICT Service Delivery section to ensure high availability and maximum effectiveness of systems and information and communications technology for the Northern Territory Government.
Context Statement: ICT Services provides ICT hardware and software services to client agencies to meet business requirements. This includes end user services such as the ICT Service Centre, End User Computing, Network Management, Voice and Telecommunications. This position is in the ICT Service Delivery unit and works closely with the Service Providers and Technology Service teams supporting allocated client agencies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead an end-to-end review of cloud services in the NTG multi-service provider environment.Provide advice regarding the design, delivery, and quality of all government ICT service integration delivery and management requirements.Monitor the operational delivery of ICT services in accordance with the agreed deliverables for the outsourced contracts.Ensure services are delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreements and resolve non-performance issues with service providers.Assist with Major Projects, Service Transition, and End to End management services provided by external service providers to NTG.Provide professional advice and support in regard to Microsoft Enterprise licence management as the NTG migrates to cloud services.Selection Criteria: Essential: Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an innovative approach.Experience in supporting delivery of ICT, digital solutions from an operational and/or project perspective.Ability to communicate clearly and maintain strong professional relationships.Knowledge of contemporary ICT and related service delivery frameworks.Ability to work autonomously with a strong work ethic.Ability to manage self and others in a changing environment.Demonstrated work ethic and attitude that emulates DCDD values.Desirable: Qualifications in Information Technology, ITIL or relevant discipline.Knowledge of Northern Territory Government business environment.Knowledge and experience with managing Microsoft's suite of products.Further Information: The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a criminal history check prior to selection being confirmed.
