Service Delivery Manager - Mildura and Broken Hill Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

CDC Victoria are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to support and lead the team at our Mildura Depot and our satellite depot in Broken Hill. The SDM is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the depot, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with the Bus Safety Act. The successful applicant will lead a team of 100 people across both depots and will have the following primary responsibilities: Ensure both depots meet and exceed contracted service delivery requirements. Effectively manage people and culture to ensure the safe, professional, and efficient delivery of services. Maximise the profitability of CDC Victoria services through operating optimal route and school services, competitive charter work and minimising costs. Work in partnership with external stakeholders, including schools, local councils, DTP and key community groups, to identify, manage and deliver improvements to services;  Handle financial and asset management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Mitigate risks of non-compliance, accidents, incidents, injuries, hazards, wellbeing and occupational health, and safety matters. A proven record of empathy and motivating staff to achieve exceptional results. Excellent communication skills to influence senior managers, colleagues, and other stakeholders effectively. Demonstrated skills in workforce planning and allocation within the transport/service industry. Have completed, or be prepared to undertake:
1. Monash University Bus Safety course subjects 6101 and 6102 – Victoria
2. Sydney University Certificate of Transport Management – New South Wales Knowledge of Transport (Passenger Vehicle), Victoria and New South Wales specific Regulations and Legislation, the Accident Compensation Act and Regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (VIC), Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) To be considered, the applicant must prepare a cover letter that uses the S.T.A.R.
