About Us
Ozcare's home care services support our clients to live independently and safely in their own homes for as long as they can. Ozcare's team of carers, nurses, dementia advisors, allied health professionals, and case managers work together to support our clients with a wide range of services delivered in their home or in the community, funded through various Commonwealth and State funded programmes.
Your Role
Based in our Community Care office and reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management and delivery of health programs and support services. You will lead a team of Assistant Coordinators, Schedulers, Administrators, Care Assistants, and In-Home Support Workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and employee engagement.
Your main responsibilities include:
Oversee daily management and delivery of services. Provide coaching and support to employees and volunteers. Ensure holistic service delivery focused on clients' needs and rights. Monitor and evaluate service provision through client and team feedback. Support continuous quality improvement and innovation in client services. Assist the Branch Manager in reviewing branch operations for ongoing viability. Your Attributes

Experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a community aged and disability service provider, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation. A warm and caring nature. Strong understanding of the Community Care industry and the operational requirements of a Community Care Branch.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and negotiation. Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and work effectively with a broad range of people. Ability to develop staff, foster teamwork and effectively work as a team member whilst providing leadership. Strong understanding of workforce management including recruitment and scheduling. Well-developed understanding of financial management. Intermediate to advanced computer skills to ensure ability to use Ozcare's management and Community Care systems. Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough). Current Police Screening Certificate. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check). Current Queensland driver's licence. Tertiary Qualifications and/or relevant experience in a health-related field (e.g. Health and Human services). Qualify as Key Personnel. Welcoming All
