Service Delivery ManagerJob Description Summary
As a Service Delivery Manager, you'll oversee facility operations under the Facilities Manager's guidance. Directly supervising staff and operations, you'll ensure alignment with client objectives and drive excellence in building management.Job Description Key Responsibilities: Manage building staff in the absence of the Facility Manager or Senior Facility Manager, overseeing all operational functions as per company policies and client directives.
Take charge of the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all contracts and regulations.
Supervise maintenance programs to uphold the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of our properties, promptly addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
Compile accurate and timely site-specific documentation and reports, including property information, emergency procedures, compliance logs, and financial reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop capital budgets and maintenance plans for facility improvement initiatives.
Monitor tenant and vendor compliance with insurance requirements and coordinate claims as necessary.
Key Competencies: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong technical proficiency in facility management.
Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
A collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork.
Exceptional relationship management skills.
Proficiency in financial management and vendor management.
Requirements: Associate's degree in facilities management, building, business, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management experience required.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Proficiency in CMMS/Work Order Management systems preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CFM, IFMA, or BOMA recommended.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel between properties.
