Do you want to play a key role in managing the O&M Delivery for more than 20 large infrastructure sites? Join our team as the Service Delivery Manager where you will engage with a number of customers and delivery partners to offer a best-in-class O&M delivery experience and service.
You will be instrumental in managing risks, tracking portfolio performance, the delivery of compliance obligations and then providing accurate reports to stakeholders and regulators on request.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank, Melbourne and is part of the DFN Delivery department, reporting into the O&M Delivery Manager. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Engage with customers and delivery partners to ensure all maintenance activities are completed as per the maintenance programs, plans, and budgets.Actively engage with stakeholders and maintain awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes and Ausnet policies and procedures.Continuously assess asset reliability and performance, investigate asset failures, and take corrective actions to ensure asset operating life is maximised.Coordinate with our network planners to deliver works that maximize availability and reduce penalties.Provide advice and support when reviewing the allocation and prioritization of CAPEX and OPEX spends.Assist in managing a spares inventory and coordinate annual stocktakes.Ensure the transfer of information during handovers is accurate and complete.You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Extensive experience in a similar technical advisory or lead role in a similar industry.An excellent understanding of substation equipment, layouts, and HV operation planning and procedures (Must have).Effective commercial and negotiation experience with a proven ability to find win-win solutions to complex problems.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage both positive and negative outcomes or feedback.Experience working within the electrical transmission industry, power generation sites, within the utility scale BESS industry (highly regarded).Infrastructure asset engineering knowledge including limited practical experience (highly regarded).Asset Management systems experience such as SAP, Objective, JIRA, etc.Analytical skills, MS Excel, Access, PowerBI, SQL and/or other analytical systems skills.We believe in more than just competitive pay.
