About the Role: The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the operational management of their portfolio of clients and staff, and the effective management of various high-quality and individualised services being delivered to those clients while promoting their choice and control.
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will:
Ensure all support services are delivered in line with the client's needs and personal goals. Promote effective liaison/communication with clients, families, carers, and relevant stakeholders. Develop a high-performance culture, committed to quality and outstanding client service. Lead and manage teams to achieve client and CLS goals. Provide leadership in the delivery of high quality of life outcomes for our clients (and their families where appropriate). Have oversight responsibility of the rosters of services in collaboration with roster coordinators to ensure effective utilisation of staff. Provide management support and practice leadership to teams within their area of responsibility. Lead and/or influence discussions on operational strategy with a range of external stakeholders including government and community-based organisations. Promote community inclusion and client-directed support that exceeds the minimum NDIS standards and delivered within the available resources. Play a key role in improving efficiencies and implementing new ways of working across the service delivery team. Maintain knowledge of NDIS support planning, processes and the NDIS Pricing Guide to effectively integrate the NDIS funding model into portfolio. Ensure effective operational management of the portfolio including all administrative support within CLS policy and procedural guidelines. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal/external stakeholders. Be responsible for the overall performance within their area of responsibility. Your application will be assessed against the following Mandatory Requirements: Formal qualification/s in a Human Services discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience in managing service delivery in a disability/community services environment. A high degree of personal resilience, demonstrated through the ability to work through difficult issues, whilst remaining professional and keeping your eyes on operational change and performance improvement. Have excellent problem-solving skills, be decisive, and be willing to "have a go" at managing difficult situations. Solid knowledge of NDIS funding model and processes. Ability to manage financial and staff resources in a complex environment. Understanding of legislation and standards applicable to the disability sector. Understanding of risk management principles. Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft O365 with the ability to learn and manage new IT systems. Proven ability to work well as part of an innovative team as well as work independently as required. Excellent organisational, time, task, planning, and priority management. Passion for supporting the human rights of people with a disability and a focus on quality outcomes.
