Payroll Recovery Services delivers Queensland Health's overpayment and loan management function, striving to deliver quality, responsible, accountable and outcome-focused recovery services. As a Service Coordinator, Case Management, you will support this objective by leading a team of case managers undertaking overpayment analysis and repayment plan negotiation and management. This role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, along with a proven ability to lead, problem solve and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
The successful candidate will provide leadership, expert advice, and support for the unit's case management function, coordinating team workloads to achieve desired outcomes in line with established client service standards, timeframes, business processes, control procedures, and reporting requirements. Additionally, you will manage a team of case managers in accordance with the department's HRM framework, which includes responsibilities such as rostering, work allocation, workload monitoring, HR and financial delegation, recruitment, induction, training, performance development, and performance management.
Key competencies (role specific criteria) Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and coordinate the delivery of quality client services within a complex and diverse environment, including knowledge and application of contemporary human resource management practices. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a relationship-based culture within a customer service team, involving active and regular engagement focused on individual and team success. Demonstrated highly developed written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate, influence and solve problems in a client-focused environment of change and continuous improvement. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply business process modelling techniques to document and analyse business processes and provide sound advice to support continuous improvement. Knowledge and application of appropriate project management methodologies.
