The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Service Coordinator to join our Service team based in the Somerton branch.
This role will see you organising the day-to-day Field Service & Workshop activities within the branch, including planning work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction.

Reporting to the Branch Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:
Booking and scheduling all Workshop and Field Service works as well as managing invoicing and work in progress.
Maintaining a high level of customer communication.
Ensuring safety and efficiency of field service technicians.
Ensuring effective utilisation of equipment and resources in line with customer requirements and agreed budgets.
Preparing and updating work orders and timesheets in a timely manner, maintaining documentation and warranty claims with 100% accuracy.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Scheduler/Planner or similar role.
A strong customer service background with exposure to earthmoving or similar industries preferred.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills while managing your time efficiently within a high-paced work environment.
Experience in coordinating the opening and closing of service information.
A strong ability to handle several tasks simultaneously with an ambition for achieving success.
