Your new role
Positioned within the Member Operations Department, the Service Controls Lead's key responsibilities will be to own and maintain a standardised approach to operational risk management and ensure functional teams are supported with tools, frameworks, processes and guidance to ensure the safe, controlled delivery of Superannuation and Insurance products and services.
The role will engage with and influence internal business units and external service providers to identify and address issues impacting members and then coordinate the collation of data and other information into proposals that will mature the Fund's approach to Operational Risk Management, change oversight at third parties, and continuous improvement.
They will work closely with Line 1 risk teams and business owners, building and embedding a standardised approach to operational oversight and third-party risk management of outsourced services through the development and maintenance of frameworks, controls, processes, and guidelines.
