We are currently seeking a Service/Commissioning Technician - Security to join our HBS Katherine/Tindal NT team.
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, your focus will be to service customer sites with a focus on EACS, CCTV and Alarm systems, to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities: Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided).Day to day servicing and maintenance.Commissioning of pre-installed security equipment.Configuration of security systems hardware and software.Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems.Software load and configuration of Honeywell EBI / DVM Systems.Small to medium project installations including working with subcontractors.Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans.Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Team Leader. Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: Experience as Security Technician or Electrician, customer facing and/or similar.Electrical experience: Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching.Commitment to customer satisfaction.Good communication - both verbal and written.Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision.An ability to work under pressure.A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.Ability to obtain NV1.Valid driver's licence.Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster when required.
