About IBIS TECHNOLOGY We design, install and maintain custom laboratory water systems in pathology, mining & research laboratories such as Clinipath, Western Diagnostics, PathWest, Intertek, SGS, UWA & Curtin University. We are a growing business with a team of engineers & technicians who provide amazing customer service and technical solutions for our customers.
About the role The main duties of the role will be:
Commissioning & constructing water systemsPreventative and breakdown maintenance mostly in the Perth area.Work with our engineers to improve system designsOccasional opportunity for travel to locations such as Bunbury & Geraldton (every quarter)This is a key role in our small business and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop with the business and take on responsibility. A fitted-out service vehicle and iPad will be provided.
Skills and Experience Strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with hands - power tools, plumbing skillsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot faultsHighly organised, good communication skills and polite mannerAbility to lift 25 - 30 kgBasic computer skills such as emailConstruction Whitecard, WA drivers license & police clearancePrior water treatment experience, plumbing skills, working with aluminium profile / wood / cabinetry / machinery or having worked as service technician will be highly regarded.
