- Service laboratory water systems located in universities, schools and commercial laboratories. Be a vital member of a team of five.
About IBIS TECHNOLOGY
We design, install and maintain custom laboratory water systems in pathology, mining & research laboratories such as Clinipath, Western Diagnostics, PathWest, Intertek, SGS, UWA & Curtin University. We are a growing business with a team of engineers & technicians who provide amazing customer service and technical solutions for our customers.
About the role
The main duties of the role will be:
Commissioning & constructing water systems
Preventative and breakdown maintenance mostly in the Perth area.
Work with our engineers to improve system designs
Occasional opportunity for travel to locations such as Bunbury & Geraldton (every quarter)
This is a key role in our small business and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop with the business and take on responsibility. A fitted-out service vehicle and iPad will be provided.
Skills and Experience
Strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with hands - power tools, plumbing skills
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot faults
Highly organised, good communication skills and polite manner
Ability to lift 25 - 30 kg
Basic computer skills such as email
Construction Whitecard, WA drivers license & police clearance
Prior water treatment experience, plumbing skills, working with aluminium profile / wood / cabinetry / machinery or having worked as service technician will be highly regarded.

We don't service every day. Most Mondays and Fridays you will be in our super organised workshop.
We give technicians every Friday to organise & modify their van, build & purchase tools to make servicing easier.
You will have a training buddy for a month, dedicated to getting you up to speed.
