Service Advisor/S (Hobart Dealerships)

As we look to grow our team and put supports in place for our existing team members we are looking to employ suitably experienced and capable Service Advisors with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.

This Service Advisor role is a key role within our dealerships, serving as a conduit between our customers and our workshop staff. Our goal is to fix it right first time and to keep our customers informed every step of the way. This is where the Service Advisor comes in.
Although the role is located in our service area, this role does not require prior mechanical knowledge, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills required to be successful in this role. Of course, a mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded.

As an indication, the Service Advisor role will include: Meeting and greeting guests promptly as they drop off their vehicles into our service areaPreparing estimates for work to be completed, and subsequent costing of work undertakenKeeping our guests up to date with progress on their vehicles throughout the serviceEnsuring our technicians are briefed appropriately on any issues a guest raises in relation to their vehicleChecking guests out when their service is complete, where you explain the work that has been completed, processing their payment & showing them back to their vehicleHelping guests with service or warranty queriesTo be considered for this position you will need the following experience and attributes: Previous customer facing experience in a retail or a high paced environmentExcellent customer service and communication skills, especially in person and over the telephoneA calm and measured disposition, and proven ability to effectively respond to customer concernsProven time management and organisation skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple customers at any given timeAbility to work productively in an autonomous environment, both independently and as a productive member of a busy teamAn ability to learn, interpret work instructions and establish a basic vehicle technical aptitude/knowledgeCurrent driver's licence, manual preferredPrevious experience in a dealership or automotive environment will be highly regardedAbout Us Local Motor Group is a premier automotive dealership group dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and top-quality vehicles.
