Join our Triage team at Linfox's Laverton North Service Centre. You will be at the forefront of supporting our drivers across the country by diagnosing, triaging, and resolving mechanical issues swiftly and efficiently. You will use advanced vehicle telematics, fleet management software and your excellent communication skills to seamlessly ensure the safety of our people, fleet integrity, and timely vehicle repair responses.
What does the job look like? Triage breakdowns nationally, diagnosing root causes and determining necessary repairs and prioritising responses.Monitor vehicle telematics to assist in timely vehicle repairs.Communicate and collaborate effectively with drivers, Linfox Service Centres and Vendors to drive corrective repair actions.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.Coordinate maintenance/repairs with nation-wide Linfox Service Centres and Vendors.Are you the one? Mechanical Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is essential.In-depth knowledge and familiarity of heavy vehicle systems, mechanics, and electronics.Familiarity with heavy vehicle telematic systems is highly regarded.Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word) – experience with SAP is highly regarded.Sound like you?
